GTM Beta Update

GTM2 Beta (GTM9) will end on August 4th, but until then we have decided to make it a version of "Kit PvP". Every 2 minutes you are able to claim a kit, (ignore the 3 minutes below, it was changed to 2). We have done this to allow players to play around with the new vehicles, and air pvp changes!

We have also made it so everyone can use an weapon, armor, vehicle, jetpack wing etc for the duration of the beta.

House doors now open, meaning you can pvp with people inside. You are able to open these doors if you are in combat, but the door will stay open for 5 seconds instead of 2 if you weren't in combat! Only players added or owning the house can open these doors, but anyone can walk in! You must both be inside the house to damage each other. People outside the house can't just rpg spam you if your inside! (This feature will be present on GTM2).

Lastly you will also get 5 gold for each kill (BETA ONLY), so players are able to buy houses!

We have also added a brand new preference to allow you to toggle your sniper scope.

The follow bugs were fixed:

* Fixed a bug where supply drops would stack and bug
* Fixed a bug with Cheat Code textures
* Fixed a bug with vehicle hijacking
* Fixed a bug with vehicle damage
* Fixed a bug with the sniper scope not appearing
* Fixed the sell inventory button partially
* Fixed a bug with Cheat Code claiming
* Fixed a bug where you could lead a gang, but not actually be in a gang

Known Bugs: All bugs marked with % will be fixed ASAP
* The sell all button in the trashcan won't account for your Hot Bar %
* Some houses on the map are removed, as they contain elevators (GTM2 Beta only bug)

SCAMMING RULE CHANGES: RPS + "Flower Games" + More

Ok, TECHNICALLY speaking, this isn't really a "rule change" but more like a "policy change". So ahh, sorry for the click bait but this IS important and relevant. I'm not gonna waste your time so let me just give you a run down of whats changing.

OK, so here is what is changing:
  • We will no longer refund players in scams involving any trades that does not involve the exchange of physical goods or services. For example, any form of wagers, "RPS", "Flower Games", or anything where you are not trading a physical good or a tangible service will no longer be protect by a refund guarantee.
  • We will still ban all and any types of scammers. The only change is you will no longer get an admin refund if you are scammed.
  • Scammed money/items will be taken out of the economy.
  • Players may use middleman services to "bypass" this policy change since we do consider "middleman-ing" a service. In this case, except in blatant cases of "middleman scamming", whoever the middleman says won in say a 1v1 or etc must be honored. So in cases like these, choose a middleman all parties involved trust.
  • With this official policy change, players with a good reputation definitely have a chance to capitalize on their trustworthiness. You could sell your middleman services for x% of the total wager amount and trade your trustworthiness for cash. See, it pays off to be nice and fair to everyone.

GTM2 Beta

Its been awhile since we talked about GTM2, but its that time now! With the actual release rounding the corner, we wanted to test and get feedback before the actual release! We will be running a beta server open to all on July 7th 2023. GTM2 Beta will be completely, and I mean 100% free to play. There will be no way to purchase anything on the store, meaning vote-shop will be buffed to give way more gold (in beta only)!

GTM2 Beta will only run for a month, and then we will release GTM2! This server will be running the old map (2017) while the brand new map gets built! (read further for pictures)

Why do a beta? GTM2 Beta will run on 1.16.5, which will enable us to do a lot of cool things, but it can come with a lot of bugs, and these include dupes, which is why we will be offering rewards such as gold on the actual GTM2 for finding dupe bugs! We also want your, the communities, feedback on what you think of the changes we made, which is one of the main reasons we are doing this. Not to mention we want to see how the economy functions throughout the month.

Read on to see what's new to GTM2 Beta. These are NOT all the features you will see on GTM2 as the development will continue of the next month, but its super important that we get feedback on these!

Vehicles are now items, this means you can trade, sell and buy these vehicles from other players. In order to take a players vehicle you now have to hijack the vehicle, this is done by simply shift left clicking the vehicle in question, and looking at it for 5 seconds. Vehicles now also have an...​
