wingsuiting isnt fun anymore D:

Nets were 'broken" after update making nets explosive, or useless, as you say. Nets always shot like how they are now, its the fact that shields got nerfed that trapping a winger basically insta kills them.

 

Wingsuiting is balanced. The main reason you would wing is to usually fight a jet packer or another wingsuiter. With this, you can always fly up to flight limit to kill someone, which is almost always out of net range. Also, wingsuits allow you to have many things, like a smaller hit box, access to better guns, and cop mode.

 

We can’t satisfy all players, if we buff it you will complain about not being able to kill miniguners.

 

or ateast just give the minigun a percent chance to go thru a net or riot

I think that nets shouldn't be nerfed but instead just make it bannable to drop while JPing/Winging and use a net on somebody. Personally I think that nets are fair, but it just seems like abusing it to me. If you aren't allowed to use it while flying, don't allow people to take off their flying device and use it. @MixLogic

 

That would be really hard to enforce. Do you remember how hard it was to enforce the homing launcher glitch and that was actually a glitch

 

I agree to the opinion that nets need to be fixed. This caused for wingers to be extremely easy to kill and extinct. maybe shortening the range of the net might be a good idea

 

I have to disagree, the nets are good as is, but the using while flying needs to be changed.

 

I know it would be, but at least it would cut down on the people who use it. If you make it a rule it will get rid of most users of it will stop, and for the ones who don't will eventually be recorded and punished rightly.

 

This will infuriate lots of Jpers ESPECIALLY the Wingsuiters themselves. What will make them mad even more is that you will be banned just for taking off your JP and Wingsuit to Net another Wingsuiter. This is something (IMO) that takes skill and a high reaction time to predict or directly shoot the Netlauncher to trap a Winger and successfully kill them without any trouble.
To counter this problem, just simply take off your Wingsuit and Minigun. If you can't Minigun, well damn, you're out of luck, just jitter click your Advanced Rifle towards the advancing enemy that's coming towards you with a Katana,Micro,Gusen,Special Carbine Rifle or Advanced Rifle. But if they have a Minigun themselves and you are Netted near a building, well Jesus Christ you're seriously out of luck.

 

Agreed. Netting people with a flying device is a big part of killing wingers. Wingers are a lot faster the jetpacks and have a lower hit box if every time they shoot the net you boost you shouldn't have a problem and after they use all the 4 ammo on the Net attack them.

 

I know how you need to do it, but it just makes the people who can mash their keys/mouse the fastest even more OP, I don't want flying to be as 1-sided and minigunners against anyone else. I prefer making them actually land and shoot you instead of taking it off.

 

If you are scared to get netted, then dont go wingsuiting but take a jp. Wingsuit is allreaddy op enough

 

Wingsuits have a high mobility for a reason.

 

It'd be one thing if nets didn't attach to somebody like they currently do, since they do it makes wingsuiting around SiZm and a number of others impossible because the second they see you they take off their wing and net you. Don't you see how that's a problem? He can just insta-net you before you have time to get out of his net distance.

 

There are ways that you can move to avoid being netted

Getting caught in a net is worse than Morgana's stun on League of Legends, but I don't think it should be nerfed, it would only induce more problems, this isn't a problem, it's a complaint because either A. you're bad at wingsuiting B. So you want to nerf or eradicate it because of the potential it has C. and it's become a problem in your in-game playstyle. Ever hear the phrase if you can't beat em, join em?
