wingsuiting isnt fun anymore D:

Ever since net launchers were fixed winging hasnt been the same. Theres nothing that im aware of that can combat a net launcher while winging besides flying away when u see it. I have a dub of wings that are useless because i cant use them without losing them. I think netlauncher should be nerfed a little bit in that instead of instantly trapping someone in a net it should be like a projectile that hits them. If someone is within range nets will instantly hit with the way they are now. Just my opinion in dis

Without netlaunchers, wingsuits are almost impossible to counter (Unless you have insanely good aim). Every item in the game needs an item that counters it strongly, to keep the game balanced, in wingsuit’s case, it’s net launchers.

 

Agreed, wingsuiters have a smaller hitbox than jetpackers or ground PVPers, which means they can easily survive a few hundred minigun shots from almost point blank. as ITraitor mentioned before, there really isn't a good way to defeat them without nets, and if you think about it, it's much better to be able to boost away instead of being completely helpless.

 

IMO, Net Launchers should be kept the same, it’s already balanced out.

 

When a player is faced with a challenge they should be encouraged to find a way to overcome it rather than ask for the challenging element to be removed. The game would be no fun if everything was only about having the right gear to defeat that other piece of gear. I'm talking tactics, obviously - you need to get smart. Try running the person with the net launcher out of ammo by acting like you are diving towards them and then quickly boosting out in the other direction. I can't guarantee that it will work but it's the first thing that came to my mind

 

I think netlauncers should remain, but the time that the net is active should be decreased. Once you are caught in a net, there really is no way to get out of it. The time should REALLY be decreased!

 

but why arnt the riot shields fixed yet ?

 

they are fixed just nerfed. they dont block all the damage anymore.

 

my complaint isnt really about ground people with nets its jpers and wingers with nets. if i come across say a jper and i try to fight them they will just quickly get a net from their bp, take their jet off real quick, net me, and then just micro me to death. and with riots being nerfed its really not easy to survive this.

 

Wingsuits are still OP and there are ways to prevent being netted and alternatively take little damage while in the net.

 

Wingsuiting is fun , You just have to be good at it like dodging nets etc

 

@MixLogic when will Riot shields be fixed they are a key part in wingsuiting

Riot shields were nerfed. They don’t need fixing, they were honestly the most OP thing ever before.

 

well atleast buff them a little bit cause u litteraly take the same damage as if u didnt have a riot shield

 

@iTraitor riot shields don't protect you Minis legitimately Destroy wingers Riots need there stats buffed They don't do anything to protect you when your netted beer is the only thing that can protect u in the air now

 

The Shields are like fucking paper now sadly

 

and the beer u can still get killed
