[Suggestion] JP Katana is Too Overpowered

    Honestly, let's be frank: JPKat is too overpowered, and if you think about it, a little stupid: you're lifting a heavy sword, with your heavy body, I think that is a little too much weight for a jet pack :P

    My suggestion is to allow only the use of a knife while using a jet pack.

    I don't care if I take a lot of heat from this, but it's just really wrong to all of the ground players, especially if the jpers have tear gas (you probably shouldn't be able to use tear gas while using a jet pack anyways.)

    If you still must reply, make it useful; Please don't spam my post with 'jpkat is soo good dont remove it pls' or 'everyone uses jpkat it wont be removed', but post and say 'JPKat shouldn't be removed because...'

    Afchlam, jp kat should not be removed because it is the keystone of GTM, let me explain.

    For the vast majority of players, godfather, sponsor, and supreme, the only reason they still play is because of the jetpack pvp and how addicting it is. We have a very competative jp community and trust me, every kill you get is satisfying. As time goes on you get better and better and every jper is trying to build there reputation to the point of being the BEST.

    Another thing is that there are only limited ways we could nerf them, even if we wanted to.

    As of right now the jp community is agreeing upon the fact that jp pvp is completely balanced. I have never heard a word about jp to jp pvp being messed up, it is challenging, strategic, and takes a long time to get really good at it.

    I do agree with you on the fact that JPers should not be allowed to use ANY throwables, it is very much overpowered and needs to be removed however this is not a direct nerf to the jp kat.

    Bottom line us that JP kat will not be removed or nerfed, there are plenty of ways that ground PvPers can defend against them and i recomend you find what works best with you.

    (I personally have killed several JPers using full armor, bullshark testosterone, chainsaw, and a rifle)

    In the future, Presidentx is going to be making more counters to jps. In a way, this will be nerfing jetpacks.

    Well obviously the jp community is agreeing it is balanced, they are completely and utterly biased as they are using that particular style. I'm not suggesting specifically removing melee combat with jetpacks, just adding some sort of drawback, such as added 'weight' which slows a jetpack the bigger the item is. For instance, a katana would weigh a lot and slow down a lot whereas a knife wouldn't weigh as much. But jetpack katanas are not fair to the ground pvpers. There should be a way for ground pvpers to kill jpers while living. In this case, there will still be air competition while ground pvpers have a chance. While the kills are satisfying, the deaths are even more dissatisfying. While you may have found something that works for you, plenty others are struggling on finding what works for them.

    Adding "weight" would ruin jp pvp because then you have imbalance, look at the ways we have imbalance already. Drugs are gay and the team has nerved them quite a bit in the past few months, even then there only really used by mediocre to good players in 2(3)(4)(5)(6)v1's. Decaps are the mist annoying thing in the world, if you cant find somebody to decap you every 24 hours you have a chance to be 1shot.

    These are both imbalances to jp pvp but players actually have a say in how the fight is balanced, even tho everybody COULD use them, the majoraty of people dont for good reason. adding "weight" would FORCE imbalance and then jp pvp would no longer be fun or possible.

    I dont think you fully understand what its like to jp with a knife, its litteraly impossible to kill anybody with even a tiny bit of skill. Unless you break there jp.

    Mont jpers just ignore ground pvpers, to most people its not worth there time and the likelyhood if dying is actually pretty dependent on who your going for and how many people are on the ground near them.

    For the people who havent found there strategy, well thats there problem. Trial and error is hoe you develop it, so when you fail, try try again.

    1 more thing, do you know how many times i died to jpers growing up in gtm, dozens maby even over 100. I made it anyways because i learned to get over it.

    Tbh ppl like you are the reason that the mini was turned into shit, cus every time a player like you dies all they do is complain and dont actually to try to improve. According to people like you everybody should be fighting with pistols and every kid who plays the server should spam nade launchers and throwables on there trycicles. Just stop.

    I will add the following aspect to rebalance JPkat:
    When you hit someone wearing a jetpack with a Stun Gun, the jetpack will be temporarily disabled.

    Here are the reasons why I think this is balanced:
    1) It gives ground pvp'ers the chance to temporarily level the playing field: the jetpacker is turned into a ground pvper for the time being
    2) the period of time in which the jetpack is disabled is so short, that you need to time your attack just right or the JP'er will already be back in the air
    3) the stun gun is a very short range weapon, with a relatively long reload time. You will need skill to shoot a JP'er out of the air, and it will only be possible if they are already close to you
    4) not a lot of players carry a stun gun because unless you're a cop, it's a pretty useless weapon.

    Katana should deal a bit less damage so you are not 2hit also many players deals verry interesting hits how about adding a anticheat to gtm1 ?

    With full standard armor its a 3 hit, many of the interesting hits are caused because of hitreg, gtm already has an anticheat it just doesn't ban automaticly.

    Could work, but i could also see it working against ground pvpers because it is MUCH easier to land hits when your on the ground then in the air.

    On the other hand when on the ground it is MUCH easier to be combo'd with a gun.

    Will this be added in the gun reballance test?

    How do you not understand: You can fly with a jetpack. You can fly whenever and however you want with a jetpack, and that aspect is way too overpowered itself. Now, adding a weapon so powerful it will kill most people first shot, while others are trying to shoot you down and failing because you fly up? this is too overpowered.

    Well yeah it's pretty cool, and pretty easy to use, and not that hard to fly down and kill someone with a Katana without the need of armor or a throwable grenade.
