Hey everyone! You read that right, new weapons ! The goal of this patch is to start introducing brand new weapons into GTM. Wait, start? You mean there are more? Ummm, maybe . We are interested in seeing how these new weapons will impact server gameplay and enhance gameplay for you all. Keep expecting to see more cool things in the coming year of 2020! Anyways, for now, here are the patch notes for this recent update. MACHINE PISTOL The Machine Pistol is a semi-automatic, burst firing pistol that fires 3 shots per rotation dealing with moderate damage with no knockback. This pistol is usable in wingsuits and jetpacks and you air-pvpers can expect to have it out-perform the micro SMG in many scenarios! The Machine Pistol is currently only obtainable in the Black Market or in /voteshop. MACHETE The Machete is a new best damage melee weapon, dealing a heart more of damage than the Katana. It's comparable to a katana, but a katana has an increased chance to drop a head. This weapon has a slightly slower "swing rate" or "hit-reg" as you guys call it then the katana. The Machete can be used in both wingsuit and jetpacks. However, the jetpack/machete combo on New Mineport (GTM7) will be disabled due to New Mineport's different playstyle and playerbase. Please note that due to the slower "swing rate" the Dildo will still outperform the Machete in damage over time. The Machete can be purchased on the Black Market or in /voteshop. WEAPONS SKIN Twelve new weapon skins are now available to be picked up from the Skin Crate NPC, and these represent the three released tiers for the new weapons, the Machete and Machine Pistol. 1.15.1 SUPPORT Recently, the new version of Minecraft, version 1.15.1 was released by Mojang. We have now updated GTM to allow players to connect on version 1.15.1. EVENT TAGS We've added pagination to the event tags menu, so if you have more than 20 tags, you'll now be able to see all of them! HOUSE MENUS A number of quality of life changes are released with this patch for houses! Taxi Targets for houses, GPS locator for houses, and the Property Houses menu are all now paginated (meaning there is a "next page" in them). The item-representations in these menus have changed as follows" - Iron doors represent a premium house YOU own. - Wood doors represent a regular house YOU own. - Player head represents a premium house that you are a guest at. These new menus will remember what page you are on when closing the menu, and allows the usage of the prev/next page and back buttons nicely so you do not forget where you are. Don't worry guys! We love you too <3. OTHER HOUSES FEATURES Players can now remove themselves forcefully from another persons house guest list, especially if they don't want to be there! This will bring up a confirmation menu and can be found within the "GUESTS" submenu of the house. Players will now only be able to become guests in the same amount of houses they can own. So if you can own 10 houses, you can also be apart of 10 houses as a guest, for a total of 20 houses. With house menus being paginated, we had to put a limit on how many houses you can be apart of for technical reasons. WEAPON / ARMOR PRICE CHANGE The majority of the weapons and armor that are purchasable through NPC shops have had their buy and sell prices INCREASED. Now, weapon categories sell for a set ratio of their buy price. The highlights below represent their sell % ratios: - Most Armor (sells for 50% of buy price) - All pistols (60% of their buy price) - All melee weapons (55% of their buy price) - All shotguns (50% of their buy price) - All MGs (45% of their buy price) - All assault rifles (40% of their buy price) - All snipers (35% of their buy price) - All SMGs (35% of their buy price) - All launchers (30% of their buy price) - Miniguns (30% of their buy price) - All explosives that are consumable (25% of their buy price) - Jetpack (33% of their buy price) - Decreases sell price of Jetpack fuel from $8 to $7.5. Our goal of these changes was to inject more money into the lower end of the economy in order to promote loot chests in the main world. In short, we are scaling up the economy in order to fix the inflation issues! Mostly all weapons buy/sell prices doubled with some being minorly adjusted. We also wanted to make certain weapon categories have a better sell ratio to encourage people to sell specific ones more often than others. A 25% sell ratio on consumables means it's probably better to just use them, where a 60% sell ratio pistols means they should probably be sold. Wow! Thanks for making it all the way down here.
