[Patch 1.0.3] Last week, we attempted to make some changes to the frustrations due to the RPG combo and attempted to hike prices of weapons/ammo/items due to the inflations on GTM1/4. We want to remind players that we have a versioning system that you can see on our MOTDs in the Minecraft Server List, so you can keep up with different patches! Following up on the last week's update to the LAUNCHER class, we wanted to finally address some power issues with the SPECIAL class. Specifically, we noticed players would never use Flamethrowers or Miniguns in PvP as they are underpowered. Also, with this week's update we wanted to tune back some price changes on specific items. [Weapon Skin Crates] We introduced weapon skins into the game months ago, and currently we only have 2 rarities in the game. In the coming months we plan on adding more content to the weapons skins, but we need a change now. We've listened to community feedback regarding that one random weapon skin is too costly. If we decrease the price of the weapon skin crates, players will have other options of spending their crowbars they receive from voting. This patch, we have decreased the Weapon Skin Crates from 45 crowbars to 15 crowbars. [General Changes] - Added the ability for managers/admins to enable/disable the casino. - More backend changes due to errors being thrown and continue monitoring of server crash issues. We intend to make GTM more stable in the coming patches. - Temporarily removed players being able to obtain starred weapons. [Weapon Changes] - Net Launchers will no longer stun jetpackers for a bonus duration of 2 seconds. Instead they will stun the player for the default 1 second duration, and temporary disable the jetpack for 0.25 seconds. This allows for the jetpacker to spam space bar to get out of the net before it disappears. - Fixes bug with Flamethrower not shooting multiple projectiles. - Fixes bug with Flamethower causing self damage. - Jetpack fuel price has been decreased from $45 per unit to $30 per unit. - Decreases the price of Heavy Shotgun from $16,500 to $13,550. - Decreases the price of Carbine Rifle from $4,000 to $3,500. - Decreases the price of Bulpup Rifle from $5,250 to $4,250. - Decreases the price of Advanced Rifle from $7,750 to $6,250. - Decreases the price of Special Carbine from $8,500 to $6,969. - Decreases the price of Sniper from $10,000 to $8,250. - Decreases the price of Heavy Sniper from $19,000 to $15,000. - Decreases the price of Titanium Helmet from $4,000 to $3,250. - Decreases the price of Titanium Vest from $8,000 to $6,750. - Decreases the price of Ceramic Vest from $5,000 to $3,000. - Decreases the price of Tactical Mask from $3,000 to $2,000. - Increase the price of Chicken Soup from $30 to $500. Spoiler: --- [SPECIAL] --- Flamethrower - Increases base damage from 3.0 to 4.0. - Increases shellSize from 1 to 8. - Decreaes magazineSize from 25 to 15. - Decreases range from 25 to 10. - Decreases accuracy from 0.04 to 0.20. Minigun - Increase base damage from 2.25 to 3.0. - Increases accuracy from 0.05 to 0.04. - Decreases capacity from 600 to 300.
This is great! I especially enjoy the minigun update. I do suggest that you guys increase the range on the flamethrower, as it does cost about 200-400k to buy one.
Sounds pretty good, i still think the prices are to high but there definately better. Gotta test the specials and nets tho
I just want to say that fuel should be even 1K per stack. I feel like it should be cheap and not a thing to really worry about. When it comes to budgeting if nessecary. Basicly i think fuel shouldn't be a huge cost factor.
The Flame thrower is very good, but I do think the range should be improved a bit as it's still more beneficial for people to use a gun compared to it even though the gun is very good.
How does that prevent anything if it's still relatively cheap in the game and you can still find stacks of 5 easily around the map... Pretty good for big deals with jetpacks and Kats, the return on investment is huge
People would buy a full inventory of soup (as it was cheap) and throw it on players that were in a middle of a trade, they cancel the trade and the items of the player will drop on the ground. The soup spammer picks it up and logs out/runs away.
Ah, makes sense, thanks for the clarification. But then again, have what, 20 x 500 = $10000, and what, they're probably getting a jetpack or a katana or something for just 10k.
