I don’t think human eyes could perceive that. And there are other ways to manipulate light other than touching it.
Well technically, if you were on an island that had a time line split in it, you could technically go back and forth in time by an hour.
It could. But time dialation always effects speed of the future. You cant traval back in the past. But the max limit something in this universe can traval with in space is truly 186200 miles per second (speed of light approx.) Unless we can manipulate space its self, (which is possible in physics), you cant go faster then light. This doesnt voilate the universal laws of space time, because technically you arent traveling faster then light, but the space around you is. You can do more research on this by looking on warp drives.
I love the topic of warp drives, they are a wonderful idea and a feat of physics. And mix just proved my point, we cannot change light in the future... we can only change it in the present.
I think this “time travel” is not possible, i do believe that you can accelerate or slow down time. I believe this can be done at 0 kelvin as there is no average kinetic energy. As Albert Einstein said E=mc2. If you have a different value of energy and the same mass value, the speed of light changes(this is for the specific magnetic field) which means the average rate of flow of space time is different(for the feeling, i mean it feels like everyone around you is slower and you are going at the same speed at a lower or greater value) and as it is related to gravity and micro gravity you can know that by “changing” the quantity number of space gravity you could theoretically change how quickly a planet turns around the star (which technically is speeding up time as a day is shorter to our known value of time). Going back to kelvin, there has been many theories made that out side our solar system’s magnetic field and other solar systems, it has been said it is the only places to truly be at 0 Kelvin which again, no average kinetic energy happening at 0 Kelvin. I believe that when there is no average kinetic energy, time can’t “pass” as kinetic energy is the energy gained by movement and if there is no movement, there is no time. Causing time to feel like its not “passing” for the person but once it re entere in the magnetic field, time has passed, but it just doesn’t feel like it. And yes i believe in the multiverse as if not there is no way to explain dejavú’s. “We live in a world formed by bubbles.” -Mishel2 (this is a quote linking to nebulas which links to the multiverse theory). P.S this is what i believe to a certain extend, i mean that anything involving speed of light is impossible to prove as it is the largest possible value for speed. Humans can also not go at the speed of light as you need to include variable change, with this i mean air resistance. (This is incase we tried under our atmosphere). Speed of light is only possible in space as there is no resulatant force (As Newton’s 1st Law of motion says: An object will remain in constant velocity and direction until it receives a force oposing it).(Newton’s first law of motion also applies to why we cannot reach speed of light in out atmosphere).
If you went at speed light it would only cause the feeling that everyone around you is going slower than you and that you are going at the same speed. But time if going at the same speed
Lets clear up the difference between time and "time" Time is the universes clock that never stops, cannot be reversed and cannot be changed. "Time" as in the earths position in the universe is a manmade concept, what is written into law by men can be unwritten by men.
Please stay on topic my good sirs. @NoHaxJustSpark @Owendog77 I assure you, you will have opportunities to argue feminism on other posts <3
We could theoretically see dinosaurs if we could use warp drives to travel 65 million light years away, and then using perhaps a infraometer (a bunch of small telescopes that coordinate together) to look back at Earth. The history is never truly lost.
I remember reading an article about Stephen Hawking where he hosted a party for time travelers and only gave out the address after the party was over so only time travelers would know where the party was hosted. No one attended.
