So now that minigun pvp doesent exist ive been JPing a lot more recently, im pretty trash but i can hold my own (kind of) One thing that i have noticed is that some days im really laggy and some days im not (i almost always lag in the city) is there any way i can help this? I play with a pretty shitty and outdated computer but im 99% sure it's internet lag because i always have frame rate lag (i should use optifine)
Not that simple The problem is not so much me standing still, not being able to hit people... it's me dropping and not being able to start flying again. Therefore i die and quit.
I can say that it is definitely the server lag, I get 110FPS solid and have a 15mb speed down, I experience no lag on other games, like CS. There is some problem with the server at this time. and not just the lag.
It might be that your computer has other useless items on it which is taking up GB storage and is causing you to lag when you get in Minecraft and into the GTM city which at times has a good amount of entities on it. Do you have extra recordings or such on your computer?
Well this computer is about 10 years old and it's a family computer (even tho im the only person who uses it). So it has thousands of photos on it. It has also been hacked once and has had/has a couple viruses. When i run a system check it finds about 1200 issues so its deffinately not at its best. There are also probably several hours of video and dozens of downloads i could get rid of. If i could i would just buy myself a new laptop but my parents arent the people to let me do that (im only 14 so its not like i have a job or debit card). Its also a mac so it doesent work like your typical PC. The w key is also broken and tends to fall off right in the middle of a fight and the spacebar is loose. Basicly i have a shit ton of problems with it. Im lucky to run 25 fps while JPing in the city and 45-50 on a singleplayer world is good for me. I also think it has a problem getting a good connection to internet because we just switched to about 100 mb/s and it still has trouble connecting to servers and downloading things. Recently there have been times where the server bassicly just stops for a second and everybody spams "lag" in chat, there has to be a small problem with the server but i blame the computer for most of it.
Awh rip. I had the luck my father gave me after 2 years asking for a new computer 200p thousand euro to buy new stuff, computer keybord screens etc. Ik 12 tho. One time you will also get a beast computer but yeah, now its just like this and you cant do much about.
xD all my friends have the dell inspiron 15 7000 gaming, it works great and my friend even streams rocket league on it, maby not what im going to get but definately a contender, in 4 years it will be outdated anyways.
