    Im new to minecraft on pc, so i may be doing it wrong but when i log in the server and type /rp i get most of the way then my minecraft crashes can someone help me please

    Your pc might not be able to handle the resource pack loading. You should set resource packs to disabled and then log in and do /rp. It'll give you a link to manually download the pack. Manually download it and try playing.

    Please make sure you are using 1.12.2. Then type /rp
