I think homing launchers are way too op, i've lost so much gear from them, especially while jping. Once a winger gets a lock, there is absolutely no way to survive, and it's guaranteed gear for them. Please nerf.
The best way to get away from a missile is to fly through cranes, bridges, buildings etc. The homing is fine how it is. Its extremely hard to get a lock anyways.
Its hard to lock someone, also i think the homings arent even op, look at the homings in fortnite you even can fly with it. So yeh i dont think its to op
Seems that the majority of people say that it isn't easy to lock, but it is quite easy for a winger. They just fly-by, and switch out their wingsuit for a quick lock, and they repeat this process over and over. I die, WAY too many times from this. I'll try and post a vid.
I have started winging recently and i can tell you it is really hard to get a lock on a moving target!!!!! Dont forget that all you have to do is take off your JP, net the winger, then either they will be stupid and try to kill you or they will be smart and run.
When I’ve tested out homing launchers it’s almost impossible to get a lock on someone unless they are standing still, but yes I agree once you’ve been locked onto unless you can dive into a building your dead.
If you want to lock onto a moving JPer you better hope your sensativity is low AF and your a medium distance away.
Maybe i'm wrong, but go on GTM 2 at around 12:00 EST tomorrow and test it with JustDylanTM, he's pretty good at it.
People get good at things... look at chirag, muscle, owna. They all mastered the art of jetpacking and justdylan is good at winging.
Actually, its quite possible to escape the encounter alive. Just run, and run hard. Make sure you are circling in and out, around and around of buildings and objects to prevent the homing from hitting you. Since homings dont combat tag you, as soon as the combat tag timer ticks, log. Oh common' no shame in logging... For the most part...
