    I just downloaded optifiine, and have realized I have no idea what i'm doing. Anyone got any good settings for GTM?

    I agree that it depends on the specs of the PC. My laptop is pretty much a potato so I have render distance at 4, all particles off, and pretty much everything to quick settings or off.

    I feel real bad now, because MC isn't even some PUBG or fortnite which is GPU intense. It's CPU based, you use an apple computer. HOW MUCH OF A POTATO DOES A CPU BASED COMPUTER HAVE TO BE TO NOT BE ABLE TO RUN MINECRAFT?????????????

    P.S. I was reading multiple threads and thought this was the one where everyone was talking about how they had the same Apple laptop....

    Their CPUs and small form factor are kinda like buying laptops, it's decent components, just not great pricing.

    Ehh, with a decent computer, you can increase your fps by up to +40 FPS, but you would have to make sure all your settings are at low or off.
