I love to talk and hang out with friends. One of my favorite things to do is debate over stuff that I think is right in my own opinion. So I decided to create a forum game over it. (No prize unfortunately so post only if you want to.) Of course I know that debates can get a little heated so I am gonna give everyone a set of rules.

    Rules:

    1. At the beginning of each DebateGame I will post a new topic question.

    2. There is no limit (unless the forum stops you from typing more) to your opinion on a topic. You do not have to write a long paragraph of why you think this way. (example: I think god is awesome because that is what I think. - is an acceptable answer.)

    3. You can not slut shame anyone's post. (This means that you can not tell someone there belief is dumb just because you don't think the same way. This is why debating gets so heated is because people are incapable of acting like adults.)

3a. Any slut shame post will be deleted and you will not be welcome in the debate games and in harsh cases if you continue to cause problems will be forum muted.

    4. You can counter debate things people post as long as your reasoning is valid. (Example if someone says god only does justice. You are allowed to counter that with "But if god created everything he also created killers which isn't justice." to create a proper debates.)

4a. A bad way to tell someone they are wrong example: You are wrong because I think so. (Obviously your an idiot if you actually think this way and don't deserve to partake in debates.)

    5. You can not start your own debate unless it is related to the question of the game. (I choose what isn't related and what is related if you don't like that don't play.)

    6. There will be a poll added to this you are not required to vote if you don't want to. The voting poll is an option same for vice versa. If you vote you are not required to post. (This game has a lot of freedom and there are no winners.)(Oh But, if you want to know the results of the votes you will have to vote to see the results ;).)

    7. This post is COMPLETELY unrelated to GTM as it is in offtopic. So none of the questions I ask pertain to GTM and any debate that turns in the direction of aiming to GTM will be removed and get a forum mute (This means that you can not say "well why dont you act this way on GTM" I know that you might want to say why would anyone even do this? But, trust me there are idiots who are 100% GTM junkies that don't even play GTM but will come to try to debate GTM related things. So I suggest just not doing it. As that is not what this game was made for.)

Q&A. How do we know when its over? - I will decide when I feel a topic has outlasted its interestingness and I will close the thread from being commented on any further.

If there are any rules or Q&As that you think I am missing or should be added just let me know on discord or type it in the comments. (Don't debate over the rules I choose the rules so post what you think should be a rule if you want but it will not become a debate and anyone who tries to debate the rules will have there comment removed.)

Question of DebateGame1 - Do you think happyness should be earned or do you think it should be a given?

(To explain for those who might not get the question do you think happyness should be something someone has to work for or do you think they should get happyness from birth till death even if they do nothing in there life.)

(WARNING: I AM VERY BAD AT WRITING SO MY TEXT MIGHT LOOK LIKE A CHUNK THAT YOU DON"T WANT TO READ MAY HURT YOUR EYES SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.)

For those who just want to know my opinion and don't want to have to delve into the dangers of my text. I voted "EARNED"

This one has always been a tough question for me. I think that when you are born you are born "sinless" which means that. When you are born into this world you should be brought into it with care and love and be treated with happyness and that you as a new born deserve free happyness. But, I think at a point in life I don't know what age group I would say probably around the teen area maybe around 14. That you should start to have to work toward making your own happyness. And, that not everything should be handed to you on a silver platter. One of my key things for this question is that people will often say they deserve happyness but it is often themselves who push themselves into despair. So even though you want happyness you yourself are often the one who is making yourself unhappy. So I think the general idea of my opinion is that because you are capable of making yourself unhappy you should be capable of making yourself happy and that you should have to earn happyness by making yourself happy. (Of course I am not saying that others should not make you happy. But, generally if you want your life to be lived to the max of happyness that you should always be putting your best effort into making yourself happy.)

I believe that happiness should be earned. While in some more extreme circumstances this is different, for the most part it should be given. Helping make others happy is simply the right thing to do. While you shouldn't be lazy and let everything be given to you on a diamond platter. I feel it is our duty as human beings to make each other have better lives. God wouldn't create a Earth if it was meant to cause missery (not doubt spelled half the paragraph wrong <3). I believe we should do what is in our power to forgive a previous sin and to make others happy!

I feel that happiness should be given. If you are given happiness then you would want to (after seeing and feeling it first-hand) return the joy of it. If no one gives happiness then there would be no changing anyone.

I agree with you flaming. In fact I use to say that "I think our general job on earth is to make someone else happy" I believe that our job as humans when born is to make "one significant other" person happy. And, the rest is kind of what life gives us with it. So with that being said I think that it is our job to make others happy. But, that you should have to earn it as well and return that kindness by making "another" person happy when someone makes you happy. So I agree

    -PsychoticKing

I think this is a good way to think as well if everyone was automatically given happyness then everyone would probably exert joy. I don't disagree with this but, I generally think in the current world of humans there are a lot of people that "decline" happyness like there are a lot of people who kind of receive happyness for free and then they push it away and kind of in turn cause themselves to be unhappy which often leads to them complaining that they don't have anything that makes them happy xD.

(Also thank you both for joining in the "debate" I am glad to see some others taking an interest :D!)
