Hey wassup, GTMers! Today we are excited to announce the release of Daily Missions onto GTM along with a bunch of other cool stuff. Daily Missions has been a big feature in development for quite a long time and we are excited to finally be able to have it out! But no no no! Daily missions aren't all we got for you. Coming with daily missions, this patch comes with a new medkit called the "boost kit", some highly requested balance changes, and even some Quality of Life (QoL) stuff mixed in! So without further due, let's dive into the patch notes ! Daily Missions are the premiere feature of this new patch. Daily missions are a "mid-game" feature that unlocks at the Mugger rank. The daily missions menu can be accessed through your Phone in: Phone -> Missions -> Daily Missions. When you first open the daily missions menu, you will be asked to enroll in the daily mission quest. At this time, it takes $250,000 to enroll in daily missions. But here is the catch: as long as you do your daily missions every day, you can make your money back AND MORE in less than a week over the 42-days worth of missions! However, if you miss even a single day, your daily mission progression will reset. The daily missions menu looks something like this. Every player will get their own unique set of daily missions whenever they enroll in the questline. You can find out what mission you will get tomorrow (and every day) for the 42-days mission questline by hovering over each day. This can allow you to plan your daily moves more wisely... Clicking each mission will reveal the possible rewards you can win for that mission. The "goodness" of the rewards you win depends on the difficulty of the missions. In total, there are 42 days worth of daily missions in the $250,000 mission questline. Out of these, there are 18 easy missions, 18 medium missions, 5 hard missions, and 1 insane mission. Every 7 days, players will get a hard mission and on the last day of daily missions, they will get an insane mission. The time at which you start your daily missions is important! The instant you start your daily mission marks the start time of each mission day. Then, even when you complete the daily mission, you must wait until the 24 hr timer runs out to start the next daily mission. If you need more time to complete your daily mission, you are able to spend gold to get yourself a few extra hours. This feature can definitely come in clutch if you want to save your missions streak to try and complete all 42-days of daily missions. The daily missions are a huge and complex new system, and it will be impossible for me to cover every little detail about them. But, they are more or less pretty self-explanatory so make sure to go try them out yourself and find out the tips of secrets of Daily Mission!!
The next big thing added to this patch is a new MedKit. Doctor Dave was hard at working brewing up another kit with all the drugs players have been selling him, and Dave finally cracked a new one! The Boost Kit is usable and viable in all forums of PvP! No matter where you are, Grounding, Jet-packing or Wing-suiting the Boost Kit has something for you! (Cyborg_ modeling the new Boost Kit) The Boost Kit will allow Wingers to fly to max height for the duration of the kit, it allows Jpers to fly faster, and Grounders to run faster. Be careful, when using this kit you also receive a 20% damage reduction! The Boost Kit will only be obtainable through Health Insurance cheatcode which can be found in 3 Crowbar Crates and up, as well as Dave will be selling Boost Kits! Warps are now displayed in alphabetical order. Jet-packers can no longer fly through cobwebs. Hitting another player will no longer remove your teleport protection. Right clicking on a loot crate with a weapon well you are not shooting the weapon will open the loot crate. Fixed a bug where killing cops would not correctly credit towards the Felon achievement. Fixed a bug where all players where given an extra 10 house slots. Added dupe protection against items in the trashcan selling for more than they are bought for. Added a sell price of 70k for Rail-Guns in the trashcan. Improved the logging systems performance Your teleport protection will now tell you when its over Fixed being able to be in combat at spawn Fixed being able to remove water in cauldrons. Fixed the Teleport menu in the phone Updated food models, Burger, Suhsi, Fries, Bacon (Courtesy of Perpend)!
Okay so quick recap: You can use gold which is bought from the online store to increase the time you have for completion on quests, which may or may not result in players being able to aim for higher reward quests more often and reliably? I don't know chief but that sounds pay to win to me.
If you do your missions everyday you dont need to pay the gold, paying gold is only needed when you need extra time for a quest. If you dont complete it in time the track will reset. So best tip, do them daily
Gold can also be earned in other ways in game even through quests. There is still plenty of time to complete the quests, this is just an way to get extra time.
