You do &(number from 1-9)(text) for example &4 hello In this case it would be red then you have letters from a to f and f being white and a-e are lighter versions of colors For example: &e = text in yellow, &d = text in pink You can also check exactly what number is what color but it's &(number/letter) and then you put text =D The only things you won't have access is things like bold, underline, etc If you want to see what number is what color you can check in internet by searching "minecraft color codes".
