This Summer the GTM team wanted to focus on pushing new changes and gathering feedback. Thus, we have created the Summer Event. This is a never-before-seen feature on GTM. This seasonal event will include the addition of the new Sand Castle item and SO MUCH MORE! Sand Castles can be claimed in various ways. The easiest way to get your first Sand Castle is to vote on at least 4 links with /vote! On top of receiving your Sand Castle, you will also receive your crowbars and money just like in the past! Sand Castles can also be bought using the new Sand Dollar item. With the addition of the Sand Castle comes Sand Dollars. These Sandy Dollars act like any other seasonal event currency such as Candy Canes from the Christmas event. However, these dollars are different in one way, they have to be produced. Type /summershop or Right-click the Sand Dollar to open the event shop: The Sand Dollar shop includes 4 custom colored tags, the ability to buy summer event-related items, gold, cheat code tokens, the NEW GOLDEN GUNS, and MORE! To start the production of Sand dollars you must first place the sandcastle down in an open 3x3 space. PLEASE NOTE: Sandcastles can only be placed in premium houses and in the warzone. Sandcastles in the warzone may only be picked up by the owner. Sandcastles cannot be placed in money houses or at spawn. The owner of the sandcastle must be online for production to occur. Once the sandcastle is placed you need to "fuel" it. In this case, it's just water. Head over to the designated beach border to fill up a bucket to kickstart your sandcastle. PLEASE NOTE: You can only carry ONE bucket of water at a time (This includes your backpack). Please also acknowledge that when you successfully fill up a bucket you will be placed into combat. Once you successfully obtain a bucket of water Left-click your sandcastle with it to start production. Be aware: one bucket of water only lasts 30 minutes. Sandcastle health may be upgraded by left-clicking the castle with 5 Sand Dollars in your hand. Note: This only applies to sandcastles placed in the warzone. Shown above is the Sandcastle menu. Produced sand dollars will spawn into the open slot in the castle (Row 3 Slot 5). Any open slots in the menu have a chance to spawn a random list of selected items. Hover over the beach ball in the 1st row to see statistics of your sandcastle. These statistics include the owner of the castle, the amount of water remaining (in minutes), production timing, and time remaining before the sandcastle expires. (Stats Menu Shown Below): We have created 3 new weapons to add to the network. All golden by the way. These weapons will only be available during this event so get them while you can. These 3 weapons include the Golden Katana, Golden MicroSMG, and Golden Gusenburg Sweeper. Each has unique abilities such as extra damage, increased magazine size, and an increase in shooting speed. A new event means new tags. However, these are not normal tags. We have converted to a new coloring system that allows custom colors and gradients. Choose a few or buy them all. 9 new tags will be added, 5 in-game and 4 on /store. Did I forget to mention the new rank colors? Shown below: Store Tags: In-Game Tags: Collect All 3 Golden Guns For The Exclusive GOLDEN Tag: Fixed a bug where your backpack or ammo pouch would glitch on your cursor Fixed the invisible passenger bug Fixed cosmetics still spawning when disabled (Cosmetics will be fixed soon, this is top priority). Fixed bacon texture Fixed not being able to use caps in command arguments Fixed a bug causing money houses to be wiped for some players Fixed a bug in wing where you would escape a net and not be able to boost in wing. Regarding the Summer Event, we have decided to limit the amount of sandcastles to 8 per IP Address. If you believe you should have an exception for this event please get in touch with a senior member or make a support ticket. NOTE: If you are caught having more than 8 sandcastles on a single IP you will be punished and may have your sandcastles removed without warning.
