...now I feel forced. Because of so many reasons in my real life it just hasn't been the time for me to be active right now, but I was always planning to come back. Now there is nothing for me to come back to. Because of just missing the 30 days force sell rule.

Over my many loyal years I must be one of the bigger donors of GTM. We're talking amounts I don't even dare to mention here. Some years back when GTM had 5 different servers I paid to build my own 2 houses. I paid to place them on all 5 servers. These were my "donor houses" used only to handover prizes from my donor lotteries.

The first blow came when gtm shrunk to GTM1 and GTM4. I lost my investment in my houses on 3 servers, There was no way to get those permits back, because you could only migrate from one server. So just money down the drain. But you know, it didn't matter, cause I love GTM. I understood the whole issues with breaking the economy (even though I have never ever taken part of doing anything to break the economy).

So now just being a couple of days late, I've lost all my premium houses on gtm1 and gtm4. Not to mention what was in the houses. People are just hanging on that button to force sell. One month not being online and there is just nothing over. Nothing to come back to. And please don't tell me "that's just the rules". Well maybe it's then time for those rules to change.

I have nothing to come back to. All is gone. Tell me how I will be inspired to ever come back again? Don't you realize that this is a great way of losing players? Did you ever think of that? I can understand in the 6 server glory days that this wouldn't matter. But now I can't believe it is your wish to lose players in this way.

Anyway thanks for great days and a great server concept. Not so much thanks for the 30-days rule...

Going to miss you Mica... Idek why they force sell house and not give the permits back if they weren't bought through /store. It takes a crap load of time for people to grind the permits, which gives a massive reason for people to not come back after losing months/years worth of work in grinding permits. You will be missed.

I appreciate all you have done for GTM but, I think that you are being a little over dramatic? What I mean is I don't understand why its illogical to people that houses are force sold after 30 days. Imagine for a moment that you joined GTM in 2016 but lets say people from 2014 still owned there houses. There would never be enough houses to go around. You could argue "well mb give me 2 months instead" How do you know that is the correct amount of time? Realistically 1month is already very fair imho to fair. The only reason we do a month is because its logical that people take month long vacations in real life not because they stop playing a game for 1 month.

I feel bad for you losing your house because you are generally a loyal player but please refrain from staining your name at least. I asked for the house not to be sold out of respect for your loyalty. Unfortunately that message didn't get around to all in time. But, in all fairness you were gone for 30 days. So no its not "time for rules to change". I can only say respectfully get over yourself and join us back on earth.

As for darkrais comment of "why do we not give permits back that are not bought on the store". This one is pretty obvious? Anyone who says permits were hard to get is simply put as "greedy". Permits with the token shop were not difficult to grind and there is a mass influx of them. In fact darkrai you should know this better then anyone since you own so many houses accross a multitude of accounts to the point that its actually becoming a problem. To say permits were hard to get is like saying you can't figure out 1+1.

Of course that is only 10% of the amount of good reasons we don't or shouldn't give back permits that weren't purchased on the shop ARGUABLY. I can even give you 100s of good reasons not to give back any permits when houses are force sold. Obviously due to the fact that we actually try to be nice we choose to give those permits back. But, due to the extraordinarily amount of permits that were basically given out during tokens we have to be more strict with what kind of permits we give back.

    Best wishes~

I'm going to miss you. I never really got to know you but I knew you through the people you helped. You were incredibly kind to all players and had a amazing effect on the community. People won't be forgetting what you've done. You created content and one of the most well known and well respected Vice players. You did a lot for this server and I want to thank you for that.

Im going to miss you as well. I remember how much Vice meant to you, and ever since it was removed, I know how hard it was for you to see it go after how much you played and enjoyed it, and know that you never really felt gtm was the same after. I know we will all miss you, and hope to see you coming back someday and playing again. You have been so loyal to this server, and im sad to see you go.

From both sides of the debate I can see reasons for both of your points being ledgible. Like from a buisness type of view it will be bad for a new to purchase permits as they will be no free houses. However, if its not Darkrai, then someone else will do it. So you'd have to do something to counteract it such as making it a rule where you cant have houses on your alts, or making the houses you can own limitation smaller. Its not just a case of removing his houses if it came to it because then someone else would just take over and it would back to square one. I repsect your points on it being annoying how he owns the houses, but there'd have to be rules put in place to prevent it.
I don't get the rule though, how a certain player says hes been "hacked" and still gets his house saved after 30 days, like surely it has be double standards. The rules is 30 days right? 30 days is a sufficient amount of time to log back on as you said but the rule isn't standing for everyone.

Nobody is removing his houses or anyones houses for that matter. I was pointing out that he should know best what its like to have a ton of permits and that its greedy for him to act like he wants more. As for "rules in place to prevent it". Yes and no, unfortunately things are not that simple. When in the beginning we don't perceive something as ap roblem that eventualyl could become a problem. This is somethign that wasn't originally a problem until much later. Yes we coudl create a rule about it "now" but, its also not that simple there are tons of players like darkrai we would have to simply "push down" in order to create these rules about limitations on accounts and how many houses they can buy. Think of it like wingsuites and jetpacks something that wasn't originally an issue is now an issue and we have to tackle those things slowly. Its not as simple as coming up with a rule and putting it in place.

A huge issue with the community in these matters is that they think every change is simply as doing it. Think of it like this there has been a ton of GTM copies and they all fail why? Because they have no idea what to do beyond simply "talking". There is more thinking that goes into it. You can't just demand it on the spot it takes a lot of conversation and working wiht the community to decide whats best for the business side and for the community side and finding that perfect balance.

As for "why some people get extended times past 30 days". We try to be nice as possible in different situations. Nor does it need to be something that you specifically or others understand. Everyone and I mean everyone has days where they are nice and try to help as much as possible and then days where they just aren't feeling it. Some people just ask at the right time. It happens and we don't expect people to understand it. Micatchu is/was one of those people that got those extended times.

Sad to see you go Micatchu, you were a big part of this community since I joined and I wish there would be some way for you to get back the items in a house that got forcesold so you and others would at least have some motivation to come back.

This is fucked up Mica, you don't deserve it. If there was a Valhalla for GTM, you'd have a very high seat among the rest of us dead players.

*crosses another name off the list*
