I don't really know why you guys did this, but you changed the titles that I can purchase with my candy canes from last christmas. This really pisses me off since I was saving up to get a Snowman tag, but now I can't because you guys switched them to titles that just aren't as good (my opinion). I feel that this is unfair to the people who spent millions trying to collect candy canes to get the older titles only to have them switched this x-mas. Thanks, FlyingKittens_
Flying you had 1 year to collect those titles... And having the same nametags every year would just be boring Also the community decided which nametags were the best during the community meeting.
Having the same event is pretty boring too . I don't know I just thought recycled event recycled titles.
Look at it this way, if you got those titles would they really be worth it?? When things get old they get expensive and rare so new things need to be added so that people are encouraged to collect/buy/trade them. I do like the same event i just think all the items should be different. The eco for elf, santa gear will be rip now.
The idea is that the tags is exclusive to that one event, so people can show that they recieved the tag for that specific year. If the tag stays the same every year, the tag's worth would go down because everyone would have it and it would not longer be exclusive to that specific year.
Yeah, but now the candy canes I have been collecting throughout the year are worthless because I can't get a good title. Maybe their should be yearly candy canes or yearly events?
Again I still don't see why you guys couldn't have just made a different x-mas item instead of candy canes that opens up a new shop. Why not add "x-mas trees" or "x-mas stockings" instead of totally screwing over some of the players with the old candy canes.
Henning is right, I'm trying to make the point that you're screwing over people who have been saving these candy canes since they came out last year. It's not fair to these people and I don't see why you guys couldn't have added a different custom item or a different event.
I do see the point you are making. However, events have always been exclusive and so have our tags. And we have repeatedly made that clear over the past. In fact, (sorry I am not sure how long you have been around) but usually, once the event is over, we disable items related to it, and make no guarantees of its value. I am referring to events in general (like the Halloween event). Specifically, tags have always been exclusive. We decided to do the same Christmas event this year, as players have enjoyed it in the past. But since it was the same event, we thought to revamp the Christmas shop.
I like how we did it this year, i just dont like how many of the items are still the same. Also clausinator eco is rip. And i dont think the tags are quite as good. Id still be game for it next year and really enjoy it. Also i think that the candycanes should stay usable all year. Also... @SkylixMC will nice lists work after the event? Or will they be sellable in trash, turn into tokens, crows...
I believe nice lists do work after the event. Unless we end up disabling it. I am not sure at this time.
I don't know, I just don't see the logic behind changing what people paid for. You can still have an exclusive tag with an exclusive item.
