When you log onto gtm1

When you log onto gtm1 you can expect tsunami's of lag, both internet and FPS.

When you log onto gtm1 you can expect an ecosystem of throwable spamming fags, hackers and all.

When you log onto gtm1 you can expect to get 6v1'd 24/7, ground and air.

When you log onto gtm1 you can expect a magnitude of toxicity, equal in praportion to a nuclear fallout.

These are the biggest things i dislike and wish would change about gtm.

 

Don't play gtm1 then you idiot.

 

I dont speak german, and im sure gtm4 is the same or flooded with hackers.

 

Welp less people play there. What’s worse, 40 hackers or 20 hackers.

 

Well Owendog, you completely misunderstand alot in my opinion. Lets begin,

1. Yes, players sometimes experience lag. Mainly because of the transfer. And i also experience lag. But do you think we are not doing anything about it? Ofcourse we do... We even have a special discord chat called “dev issues”. EVERY crash or lag spike, gets reported in there. We are very busy fixing the lag and its the top priority including gun balancing.

2. Ofcourse we have those 9 years old spamming throwables. But its their way of playing. Its a technic, if you like it or not. If they want to play it like that and are happy, why are you making a problem of them? I understand its annoying. But deal with it. You dont think its annoying for people with a rank lower then Mobster, that you kill them every second? Its the same.

And about the hackers, please use /report or /help to report hackers. Alot of people dont understand that we are here to help you. Its not a problem for me to recieve a dm and hop online to ban a hacker. And i always, ALWAYS tell some other mods to handle hackers if im not able to come online. But please, dont call out in chat.

3. Again, if you dont like it or not. But we have gangs. And to be honest, real gangs actually play with alot of people. And yes, it happens that a gang of 6 people are 6v1ing you. But thats what a gang is. They go with alot of people, to kill people. Thats the purpose of a gang...

4. And i agree with that, we have some players being toxic to each other. But we cant do alot about it. We have people that rage quit alot faster then other people. But that doesnt mean you cant enjoy the game with your friends.



Everything will settle down in some weeks and it will all be fine. And dont forget, its an 18+ server, you can expect toxic players. Just enjoy the game how it is. Its fun if you play it on the right way.

 

I just ment it to be a short little summerization of gtm1, i personally will be moving to gtm4 BC i think theres more for me there but i apreciate your opinion.

I would however like to say that spamming throwables is not a technic, it's a simple and anoying way to kill people, sometimes i actually wish that they were completely removed from the game.

Yes i know what gangs are for but you must admit, its annoying to die to them and if you log they call you a pussy nonstop. (Im used to it by now, ive been playing gtm for over a year)

 

This sounds like a really positive thread against GTM!

 

Its not that i dont like gtm, its a great server and ive met some great friends through it. However like anything good there is always something that we wish could be better or changed. These are most of those things that i personally dislike.

Yes, this is ment to be a friendly conversation about how gtm could be better starting with my opinion of whats wrong with it.

I dont think its against gtm, i think its for the better of it.

The way you articulate those sentences is pretty negative to GTM, i know we have some things to fix, but we are working really hard to fix those things.

Our developers / system administrator our working really hard to fix the lag, and us as staff members are working really hard to catch hackers as soon as possible.

Toxicity is what makes GTM, GTM. GTM is ranked M (mature), which means being toxic is allowed. You will have to life with this.

6v1'ing is part of the game, you can 6v1 someone from your side as well... Teaming is allowed, and it will stay allowed.

It does mean that they are allowed to be toxic, and it also means we can't do anything about it.

As a player we have the power to ask our peers to be more kind, weather they do it or not is up to them.

One of the best ways to hint kindness is to first make it visible in ourselves.
