Season 2 is available to all players. Join it from the Hub! Hello there, and welcome to the mega-thread for Vice Season 2! There's gonna be quite a bit of information to go over here, so hang tight. Before we head into the exciting second season of Vice, however, let's quickly look back at Season 1. Season 1 was the initial version of Vice, and had a pretty intensely close competition between the two top cartels. Here are the top three cartels; the score is calculated like so: cartel stash + (claimed chunks * 64)^2. Congratulations to these people! LaNoire will receive $500 in Store credits, so Brownwood - please PM me on Discord and we can sort the distribution of that ($250 to the leader, $250 among the members by default). There is a lot of stuff in Season 2 that wasn't in Season 1. Each new season of Vice will add a number of large new features to the server. These are the main ones for this season! Drug Machines Machines are custom blocks that process drugs in different ways. We have drying chambers that you can use to dry mushrooms and leaves, mixers, and more. You can purchase any machine at the shop in spawn. A machine requires fuel, and has a durability to it. As such, you have to make sure that there is always enough fuel (lava buckets, wood, coal all works) for the machine to remain active, and make sure that you can replace it when it eventually breaks. Machines also completely work with redstone, meaning you can build complicated factories that process drugs at rapid rates, using hoppers and the like. Custom World In Season 1, the world was vanilla generation. We now have over 20 custom biomes across our 32km x 32km world, including rare features like terraced cliffs, and volcanoes. Around the map are also towns and villages - ruined after the world was taken over by drugs, but still very explorable. You can find these places...who knows what secrets they may contain? Another big change from Season 1 is that most drug making now isn't self-maintainable. Meaning that you cannot make a self-replicating farm, as the plants can die and run out. However, various seeds for different drugs can be found around the world, in specific biomes. This is going to require a high amount of exploration, as well as trial-and-error to see where you can get what! People with enough knowledge of this could even make their money by trading the rare seeds they know where to find. More We have a lot more in here as well! New Spawn NPC System Casino Removal of Nether (can find needed items in the normal world) Removal of Cop system (for adding down the road maybe!) Once again, the top Cartels will fight it out to become the best in the Season. In Season 2, the following rewards will be given to the most powerful cartels. Please note that cartel power is cartel stash + (claimed chunks * 64)^2, and does not include any money that cartels members personally have. The owner of each cartel will have complete control on where the rewards go. Season 2 will end May/June time - a proper date and time will happen closer to this, once we've solidified plans for Season 3. Good luck on growing your drug empire!
Wow, these stats people have are incredible! Guess what, coming back on GTM for those 200$ , won't be as involved and active in the community though. Good luck to all future cartels!
@peraldon (sorry for tagging you) but how can we actually make the drugs like there is no tutorial abiut the machines or something else
If the owner of the richest cartel wanted $1000 store credit to distribute to gang instead of $500 cash would you do it?
Hey i cant download the texter pack i was wondring if i could get the texture pack so i can actualy paly vice
Personally i would take the store credit, its better for the server and it just makes my life a whole lot easier (all of it would go to gtm anyways)
Well, i would take the irl cash, cause i can buy a new pc with iT (to play Gtm ofcourse) and when i bought the pc i can buu stuff on gtm
I thought about that, but even though my computer sucks i think i would still take the credit. Besides, the owner of the cartel decides what to do with it. Speaking of wich, if you have a cartel, i would gladly join!
