For me, all the major things in ViceMC seem to be (or you can say) somewhat broken since the launch of ViceMC Season 2. Their durability is extremely low and they break very easily after making few drugs. This makes it difficult to sustain a cartel since the amount of drugs produced before the machines break do not cover the initial cost of buying the machines. Many players who have advanced to this stage in ViceMC have also noticed this. To be honest, the only machine that can actually sustain its original cost is basically the small drying chamber, which is around $2,000. The other machines, which are much more expensive, break down too quickly and make it so inefficient to create cash without covering for the cost of the machines. The coca processor I bought was only able to sustain $10,000 before it broke down. Since those machines cost around $25,000 a piece, making money is almost impossible, leaving the many unfortunate to earn money from gambling their luck in the casino or opening crowbars. I think adding much more durability to machines will make ViceMC more enjoyable. And not like a 50% or 100% durability increase; even with that increase it is still not enough to cover the costs of the machines players buy. I'm talking about a range of 250% or even higher, and from my experimenting with machines, 250% durability increase is enough to cover just the cost of the coca processor from the drugs you made. So basically that means of all the processing, drug collecting, and waiting you just done, you have ended up with $0 in your pocket... When I played ViceMC Season 2, I saw that there is a lack of knowledge to create drugs within the players. Although there are certain recipes displayed in the machines, they are extremely small and hard to see, which involves a lot of squinting toward the screen and eye straining. There's not even a building at spawn that shows all the recipes for drugs in the new lobby. In addition, the ViceMC resource pack is not compatible with other resource packs when it comes to machine recipes. Instead of showing the output and input, they show weird Chinese characters. I mean, adding custom terrain, trees, and abandoned structures were cool and more exciting, but when you add the other issues that affect the gameplay, it doesn't seem to be as entertaining compared to Vice Season 1. I think there should be more focus in the issues involving the major components to the gameplay of Vice Season 2, not just visual marvel. That would probably make future Vice Seasons more enjoyable and at least efficient.
Durability Fixes are already underway There is recipes on the machine tutorial so Not sure what your talking about With the Chinese characters, I don’t get that issue
The ViceMC resource pack interferes with other resource packs that you currently have on. Apparently the characters in the machine tutorial only show properly if the ViceMC resource pack is the only resource pack you have activated. So say for example you have a Faithful PvP Resource Pack already on and you log onto ViceMC. The ViceMC resource pack downloads, but since you have both the ViceMC resource pack and the Faithful PvP resource pack on, the instructions on the machine tutorial turn into weird characters. So in order to view the instructions, you have to turn off every resource pack except for the ViceMC Resource Pack. I prefer to have smooth textures of the Faithful PvP and the low fire instead of the choppy textures from default Minecraft, so this kinda bothers me. In addition, the machine recipes in the machine tutorial can only be viewed if you have the machine itself. This is kinda inconvenient since some of the machines cost $100,000 a piece. If possible, some pictures of the recipes of each machine could be appreciated so I can make a list.
For the recourse pack issue you probably need to take off the other pack if you want the character issue to be fixed since there isn’t really anything wrong with our RP it’s just interfering with that one. For the second suggestion I’ll look into this
