Dear GTM community, I made this thread to help you understand the concept of the Business update. After reading this please go to the thread I posted yesterday and read those Ideas, let me know what you think of the idea. THINGS TO DO -stock market- This can be a key way to get big bux like in real gta 5, investing in businesses that are making different profits depending on how many people are buying them, you can even make your own company stock market. -goals- when you attempt to profit off the world of business you need to set goals for your company so you can raise or lower your stocks and set budgets for new buildings or maybe new employees. -industry- This will determine what type of things your company will be doing. Options are drugs, weapons, vehicles, lotto, or real estate. -offices- Offices are where you will have your employees doing their work and making plans or budgets, These only cost $ and not permits, most if not all offices are supposed to be in buildings. -making a company- making a company will cost $250,000 so creating one is recommended for people in the $750,000+ range. -profiting from your company- Profiting from your company is going to be hard if you don't make good deals, collecting items and selling them for a better price will make it hard to actually earn so I recommend killing or stealing items, maybe you can find a deal off of others selling items for a lower price. -court- if your company has resources stolen, their account hacked, or some worker has been killed, find evidence to sue the company that has troubled you. depending on severity you can win up to $150,000 from suing. -vaults and dealerships- vaults are a very secure way to store money and goods but be careful, people might want to rob them for the cash. Also, while the vehicle industry is an amazing way to make money considering the cost of cars, it is also easy for someone to walk up to a car and steal it so make sure you higher expert security. -building your own office- just like building premium houses, you should be able to build your own office or office building. requirements are that it must be modern and have a shape besides a box, if it is a box it must have 1 or more antennas. Seems awesome but I don't know about building your own office if this idea did get implemented I think their should be buildings which you can buy for office because the map could get ruined if you could build your own offices.
We are trying to make a bigger map, we should have these new areas for only offices requiring the owners to buy them, I like the idea.
Stock Market: I see what your getting at but your not really explaining the mechanics of how this will work, where is the money coming from, how will rewards be given proportionally- there is a lot that goes into this idea that you are leaving out. Offices: what would the point of an office be, IMO players wouldn’t enjoy sitting around in a office, and why is it less expensive than a Gang. Court: at this point the idea of a GTA themed server just kind of fades away It’s an interesting idea, and maybe a bit of it rethought could maybe be included but for rn I’m afraid these ideas wouldn’t work
