PATCH 1.2.2 [Easter Event] GTM would like to wish a Happy Easter to all our players and their families. To celebrate this occasion, GTM will be running an amazing event which will undoubtedly be memorable to everyone! This event will run from April 18th at 12:00am EST to May 1st at 11:59pm EST. Event-related packages are now available on OUR STORE (under the EASTER category). Details on these packages will be provided below. [Egg Hunt] Players will be able to hunt for eggs out in the PvP world for an exclusive event tag reward. There will be 30 eggs to find in each GTM server, so players can hunt on Minesantos, Sanktburg, and New Mineport! For each egg found, players will receive 8 throwable EASTER EGGS. Upon finding all 30 eggs, a unique event tag will be unlocked, as well as a bonus 15 crowbars! [Bunny Factory] EASTER BUNNIES will randomly spawn around the PvP world, and occasionally will lay EASTER EGGS. Eggs will sometimes have loot in them, and have a fairly common chance of spawning an EASTER BUNNY. Killing an EASTER BUNNY will always reward you with an EASTER CHOCOLATE. Upon right click this chocolate, an event store will be opened as shown below. Note: All EASTER BUNNIES will be removed on server restart, so make sure to kill your "bunny factory" before the server removes them during the daily restarts! Players may purchase more EASTER CHOCOLATE on our official store at https://store.grandtheftmc.net/ Breakdown of the packages are as follows: $5.99 for 80 EASTER CHOCOLATE $11.99 for 175 EASTER CHOCOLATE $19.99 for 310 EASTER CHOCOLATE $34.99 for 700 EASTER CHOCOLATE [SALE] On that note, we would also like to announce that during this event, there will be a 25% SALE live on OUR STORE. [Old Chocolate] Chocolate earned from previous easter events IS NOT the same as EASTER CHOCOLATE. The old chocolate acts like a drug and will give you an absorption effect. Spoiler: GENERAL CHANGES - Ranking up should now correctly update a player's Newb PvP protection timer. This means when a player ranks up to GANGSTER, the newb pvp protection timer will be disabled and the command will not work. - More cool stuff for the staff team to mess around with. Mafioso is going to die due to disatisfsaction of gambling addiction . I do kind of wish that this wouldn't go like Fornite and would erode the economy of rare items. I am super pumped with the new additions! Also can we make MG decent please, it was garbage when I was around and during then talks of new items. Thanks for the update!
The Casino and the Easter Event can't run at the same time because 2 Events can't be ran at the same time which Casino is technically an Event.
Why not just remove the bar at the top and have it announced in the chat every few minutes? The bar doesn't seem that important if you ask me, just tells how long the event is going for. Plus the event isn't ending for another 13 days.
