Riot shields. If you try to sell them in the trashcans, you get nothing in return. Instead, I think that riot shields should be worth something in the game, based on their applications in-game, their rarity, and how they do not get any attention, even though it is a custom item. Price- I say they should be worth around 10k based on how you can only get them from a handful of sources and how they can be applied to the game. Benefits- The benefits of making riot shields worth something are... They would increase the amount of people using riot shields. People would actually enjoy using riot shields, which would leave a positive impact on the server. It would encourage people to use the job modes on the server. It would actually make the 2-Star crates more valuable, encouraging players to vote and to buy crowbars. It would make cop-mode more competitive and much more rewarding to kill a cop and collect their loot. #RiotShieldLivesMatter
Yes plz, I've stocked a litter over a quarter of my chest with riot shields from pas times when I've played cops, and it's annoying, I wanna sell them, but I can't, their soooo usefull, you can block all of ur opponents attacks until they have to relooad and then destroy Them cuz their defenseless.
Even though I do think riot Shields should be worth something like 1k here is why I don't think they should be worth 10k 1 - One reason I belive riot Shields aren't worth anything is that they are included in the cop kit. To the majority of the players that take kit cop will normally be because killing people with 3-5 stars rewards you with a lot of money. Hit man on the other hand (at least I do) is because the heavy sniper. It gives you a free 6k. Of course killing people gives you a lot of money but the chances of finding that one player with a bounty is far less likely than finding someone with a star. Where am I trying to go with this? Well the cop kit is a lot better than hit man and making the kit value worth more would just totally kill the point of using kit hit man. Also most likely if the riot shield was worth 10k people would rather sell them than use them because I personally find the riot shield useless. One thing I do agree with Grand is that winning a riot shield in a 2 star crate is extremely annoying as it is worth totally nothing and as it is a "chat win" other chat win such as kit drugs and kit rare are a lot better and worth more. For this I suggest that making another type of shield something like sam's air Jordans and black op boots and making another shield which would have a more of a value and would be useful for trading and donor deal.
Maybe you could keep the 10k price but only have a chance of getting one in the cop kit, like between 30% and 50%
I hope your suggestion gets added. This way, killing a police officer would be far more rewarding and at the same time (as you said), being one would also be worth it. I don't think the selling price should be too expensive, however, not too cheap either- around 3k-4k I'd say. Good suggestion Grand.
