JP's are making it really hard to like this server

I'm a f2p player, i've slogged my way up to rank mugger and I still get instakilled by godfathers with Jetpacks who blindside me with no warning. it's really irritating and I don't know how to counter them. can someone help me?

 

GTM is a game where you always need to be on your feet, and there isn’t really a way that we can nerf jps to make them less sneaky nor do we see the need to.

I suggest you keep your audio up to listen for JP noises and always look behind you.

Just try to find someone in spawn flying with jp, also maybe take Some explosives with you

 

They sound like an exhaust also to counter jps try using Gussens, Special Carbines and RPG's.

 

I do understand your feeling, I'm always getting targeted by those sneaky Jetpackers. A tip I can give you is to use the F5 button every few seconds to see if there is a Jetpacker nearby, if so: hide inside a building and wait until he flies away. Good luck!

 

I agree with JustNassim to use F5 to watch your back because that is what I do. You can also just avoid them by going inside a building when you see a jetpacker. Or you could completely avoid them by going to warps like Africa or IslandTownHouse where there are rarely jetpackers.

 

If it makes it more comfortable switch your toggle perspective key to R, this is more comfortable for me and ive managed to kill a couple!!!

I actually like it when JPers attack me because it gives me a chance to kill them, im always F5ing and a chainsaw is very good for getting a combo on them!!!

I actually did not know how to change perspective until i started on gtm and it was nessecary!

Also try to get somebody to decap you beforehand so that you have a fighting chance with all your gear on you.

I dont know if noranks have permissions for that command but /near helps rly much. In my GTM times i used to type /near every 10secs! Its pretty usefull!

 

No ranks don't have /near so TheKittieMuffin, I recommend you to do donor deals since you are a f2p player like me. I did donor deals until Supreme rank and /near is a very useful command and all donor ranks have it.

 

/near is very useful for this, but the ''F5'' button is the best option for you

Its really helpful and i use it no matter what im playing.

/near makes vip worth it, its honestly the only reason to get vip

If you end up donating i recomend you get premium, its the best bang for your buck if you want to go cheap. If you are willing to spend a little more definately get sponsor, i love sponsor and i am very glad i got it!

If your really dedicated to the server definately go supreme, if the server stays playable i will definately get it eventually!!!

Jetpacks sound like a deep raspy hiss, almost like sandpaper on asphault. (Its kind of satisfying and annoying at the same time)

 

Another good way to combat Flying Samurais(jetpack + katana peeps) is to use fastplace and killaura hacks keep a net launcher on you. Granted, this would be expensive to keep up, but killing one Samurai is immensely rewarding.

To avoid getting blindsided by basically anyone hit F5 every so often. This will allow you to see behind you, while appearing to face forward. The latter makes spinning around and netting Flying Sam's easy, if performed correctly.

It sounds like Thomas the Train is slowing down so he can sneak up on you and kill you. But in all reality Mix's CHHHHHH is the most accurate description.

 

In my opinion, F5 is the best option.
