Remember this Post? https://grandtheftmc.net/threads/kit-swap-scammers.1258/ That was an amazing Time and very fun trading and interacting with that many People. But now it seems like Kit Swaps just kinda died. Idk why. Are Kit Swaps still a Thing?
I think its still a ''thing'', but the economy on servers like gtm2 is broke, so people don't like to get ''only'' 1 jp for the ''much'' time it takes.
I dont think people do kit swaps anymore cus of all the fucking scammers who dont know what earning respect is. So... If i have money on another server and i find somebody who ses they are willing to trade.. I know scamming is allowed but if i give the money to them through /trade is it bannable? I know kit trade scamming is legal And i also know that scamming through /trade is bannable But what about when you do a kit trade/money trade through /trade?
I think the number of Sponsor and Supreme players from GTM 3-6 have decreased from before. Since in my opinion, most people do kit trades from GTM 3-6 to GTM 1 or 2, there are fewer people to do the trades with. Also, the Sponsor and Supreme players from GTM 3-6 might play on GTM 1 now since most players play on there. I know few people from the other post like Doggogo and littletrickyt and they don't play anymore. Owendog's idea might also play a factor where there is no trust to not scam. Just my thoughts. I agree with Mix, I haven't seen anyone do or ask for kit trades for a while now.
Scamming through /trade is legal. The only time scamming isn’t legal is when it involves store items. If it involves non store items IRL items then both parties will be Perm banned.
Kit swaps aren't really intended, you're supposed to get 1 kit on 1 server. If people start doing them again, we may introduce gamemode-wide kit cooldowns (so you can only claim your kit on 1 gtm server every 24h)
This could cause a riot because many ppl like to play on other gtsm for a bit when they bored of there gtm and they will basically not be abl to do anything. So in my opinion just dont allow Kit trade
Okay. The term P2W really makes me wonder if you’ve spent any money on the server. When the player donates, the money goes directly back into the server. As stated many times before, no money, no server. Without money, we wouldent be able to hire hard working high ranked staff members, or we wouldn’t be able to pay for updates, or hire advertisers, or even put the server up on a server list to gain more members. Sure, some of the money comes out of Presidentx’s poket, but the server and its players are dependent on donations. I get that the staff make donating a great thing for the player. If the player doesent get good items, why would they donate? So please just refrain from using the term “ P2W “ as it’s a disrespect to all the players who have donated to make your time on the server better.
What about gtm two's ecocomy is fucked up? The only thing that is different is that we have a player that has more money than the rest of the players on gtm 2 combined. (Exagerated but not by much)
Okay? Pay2Win is a Term that I may use however I wish to. Calling em Donators doesn't change shit. They still get huge Benefits by "donating". "-A donation is a gift given by physical or legal persons, typically for charitable purposes and/or to benefit a cause.-" If you'd like to define keeping the Server up a charitable purpose, then so be it. Calling huge "Donators" Pay2Win is no misuse of the Term because some Gamemodes like Vice are literally unwinnable if you aren't Supreme because of the Huge 1.5x Sell Multiplier, the 20? Homes instead of 1 etc. And yeah u could say that they are winnable if you put enough Effort into it, but nah, not really imo. Conclusion - Maybe don't try to tell People which Terms to use and just accept that my general Statement of upper Post was that I dislike strong p2w behaviour especially when they get cocky about it. That of course doesn't change the Fact that p2w Players are needed to keep the Server up and I accept that. That's my personal Opinion. I can swap around p2w for Donator all day long but that doesn't change my general opinion. Have a nice day.
