I don't know about you guys, but I'm honestly tired of seeing all the unintelligence in the forums. The types of people listed below are the ones we do not need anymore of: 1) People who try to argue without proper insight on the subject. 2) Any uses of ad hominem (attacking the person personally rather than actually attacking their argument). 3) People who misinterpret ideas/arguments. Before you reply, please read carefully what you're replying to so that whatever you say is actually relevant. 4) People who bash others rather than providing constructive criticism/People who don't provide relevant feedback, but straight up disagree with your stance on the topic of matter. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to Fix This: 1) Provide positive feedback when you agree with someone's idea. 2) If you disagree, carefully read what they said and respond logically according to their argument. 3) Always provide constructive criticism. 4) Before you type something, make sure it is relevant to the topic and makes sense. 5) Don't argue about topics you aren't familiar with. This is purely your loss; don't make yourself look like a retard. P.S. This does not apply to off-topic threads, only serious threads about server improvement/etc. Only adding this point in because I don't need people to fight in the comments of this thread. Jokes are completely fine as long as you clearly intend it as a joke/use it only at appropriate times.
Yep, I have seen put downs across the forums. Players who try to leave suggestions, try to raise GTM's enjoyment are put down and are told this and that. GTM is a community where we encourage players to leave suggestions, have fun, and a relief of stress when approaching our community. We greatly encourage people to speak there minds, leave suggestions that you believe can truly benefit the GTM society, you should not feel the lightest of embaressment or shyness. We all love to hear your opinions, if you don't agree, simply follow what Xnap outlined and everything is sweet as pie! Players also like criticism, leave your opinions and develop a greater idea with the communities help.
