This is interesting, but would it really make a difference if the minigun's accuracy was nerfed? It would still be a rain of bullets, if no longer a beam. Also, not being able to shoot through slabs doesn't seem like an indication of decreased accuracy . It's most likely just a small bug.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you were ever able to shoot through slabs. I think the slabs acts like full blocks. An example is in trump tower where players can't get hit by bullets when they stand behind the stone slabs.
the accuracy of the gun and damage has been reduced alot. its really obvious as I used to be able to kill others within a short amount of time and whenever you shoot straight bullets go to random directions
Looks like my suggestion got through (unless they already had it planned anyway lol) Miniguns are deadly enough as a storm of bullets spread out across a small area. If you think about it realistically, a minigun firing 100 rounds a second would be extremely hard to keep accurate anyway. Giving it a bit of spread makes the game more realistic and gives miniguns the nerf that they have needed for a while. The way it was before was more or less a Gusenberg with the fire rate cranked up to 15, which was totally unrealistic and OP. They may need a bit more tweaking but it's a step in the right direction.
Dunno, maybe they only pushed it out to GTM1 for trial purposes. I wouldn't be surprised, they've done it before
