The New christmas update with The Santa Presents that thow out candy canes, its So unfair!
If your a New player, you find the santa present, you cant really get anything because it Shoots up in the air and all the 50 jpers there grab them all. This is very not fair, as i have been to 3 of the santa drops and Died Instantly to jpers, or even if i did survive, i wouldnt get them because Jpers are swarming the present. ITS SO UNFAIIIIIR!!!!!!!

 

I can totally get how it is unfair. However, the Dev team did not need to add this at all. If you see the Santa Drop, you can just go the other way. You don't have to try and get it. But I understand like who the hell would not want to get it, so maybe think of it as an extra challenge?
I can understand the frustration, but I don't think it's unfair.

 

I think this event is supposed to be fun and challenging. Part of the fun is defending the drop zone. As 11kobeer has said, you could just leave. Look on the bright side, more jpers to kill.

 

How are you supposed to 'nerf' this? They're literally using a strategy that depends on them being fotzens and not letting others get the candy canes.

The Jpers are all teaming. They literally fly in a circle above it and dont pvp, to farm the canes

 

Yeah, I know. Let them use the strategy of being a dick and staying close to the crate for the candy canes.

Another fact is GodModers are always their too so it makes it very hard to get the candy canes.

Shoot at them with a minigun and watch them fly away or die while you sit by the drop

 

Your not seeing my point.
If the drop suddenly... what? comes 2 blocks next to a player with a 10m playtime. he wont get any because he has no loot to 'Shoot at them with a Minigun', or a Jetpack. Its Just the Jetpack noobs ruin it for everyone.

 

So you don’t want skilled players getting rewards only new players?

This doesn’t make much sense, you can always shoot at the jetpackers because they won’t stay if they are under heavy fire.

And there is a lot of things that new players simply can’t do because of a lack of skill or supplies. That’s how every game works.

 

Ok Then, What about a Premium Godfather. He probably sees the Present.. like what next to him? but he cant get any candy canes because jpers keep crowding it, and he doesnt have a jp in his Bp.

I'm gonna quote that Bear Grylls meme here: Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. Players should be encouraged by this to come up with a tactic to counter the jetpack campers, rather than having us staff or the devs make something for them because they don't want to make the effort. I'm not completely disagreeing with you either, it does sound like a dick move what they are doing, but this is GTM where the common rule is every man for himself. Dick moves are a common occurence

Again, use a mini gun. They will either all scatter or die.

 

I gotta say, (Yes, I know the event is over) all you have to do is keep a Jetpack and fuel in your BP. You fly to it, take off the JP, put on a chest plate and use mini gun. Once you need to get the candy canes just fly with the JP you should still have and pick them up. I will say I got well over 200 candy canes that way. (GTM3)
